2023 CAMPAIGN
by Hidden City Philadelphia of CultureTrust
Your support keeps Hidden City's coverage of Philly's built environment free for everyone and fully independent.
Dear Hidden City Readers and Supporters,
We're celebrating 12 years (!) of publication and are here asking for your support so we can deliver lucky 13 in 2024.
By December 31st, we must raise $40,000.
The first $30,000 in donations will be matched by a trio of organizations to whom we are grateful: NewsMatch, Loud Hound Partner Fund, and the Independence Public Media Foundation.
Boost your impact by contributing early, so you know your dollars are matched.
We believe the work we’ve done over the past year is worth supporting. In fact, with the addition of a second staff writer, we think our reporting was the strongest it’s ever been.
For better and for worse, there was no shortage of consequential stories on the preservation beat, including the sale of Lynnewood Hall, the 11th hour rescue of a Wilson Eyre Jr. beauty in Chestnut Hill, and the proposed demolition of a historic Norristown prison.
Plus, we continued our comprehensive coverage of the Philadelphia Historical Commission’s monthly meetings--the only news outlet that does so.
If you read our work, enjoyed it, learned something from it, shared it, talked about it, please consider supporting it. Your tax-deductible donation will sustain us over the coming year.
